I love the free version, but sadly wasted my money on this paid version. To put it mildly, I hate this version. They created a bland, difficult, irritating app here.

I have used this app for about 3 weeks now. I am getting ready fora 2 month trip and just did not feel comfortable with the other apps I had purchased OR used. I tried PAC THE BAG and immediately fell in love with it feeling confident that I am remembering everything. Occasionally I will think of another item, enter it and forget it. I have edited some of the categories, copied some, deleted some and just added some items. I LOVE THIS APP AND THE SUPPORT HAS BEEN GREAT.....Will quit looking now. I have found what I want. Oh I did Buy the Pro. Well with it.

I think this app has potential, but its still a very tedious process to get ones list items and categories set up to ones liking. As it is, each and every item requires a long left swipe, then clicking to delete or typing a new name, then confirming. Given that there are dozens of items, its almost more hassle than its worth. Inventory items need a bulk edit mode (select multiple to remove, drag/drop to a new category...) Also, its not immediately apparent whether youre in plan or pack mode, which leads to frustration when actions dont work as expected. This could be a truly five-star app if it worked on a friendlier and faster experience rather than making using the app a project in itself. I hope the developer can fix these issues so that I can rate it higher and feel better about upgrading to Pro.

What a joke!!! I have been using the free version of PackTheBag for about two years and absolutely love it. I thought surely an upgrade would enhance my experience. Was I ever wrong!! This new app is so confusing and so frustrating and very complicated I have recommended pack the bag to several of my friends and I will now tell them not to upgrade. The company should take this app off the app store and refund everyones money. Im going back to the free version and regretting the day I ever spent the money.
